VersaPal-KR:  A line of versatile, modular, and configurable robotic palletizer systems pre-assembled, pre-programmed, and turn-key for your application.  Purpose-built for your product: cases, bags, pails, or JIBS – the VersaPal-KR is built with KUKA KR QUANTEC PA family of robots with payload ranges from the 120 kg to 180 kg and reach of 3200 mm. The AMI system is designed to execute up to 10 picks per minute with pre-programmed palletizing recipes, and can be installed rapidly with the frame based design.  Configurations are available for completed pallets to be removed using floor jack manual pallet removal, conveyor based pallet handling, or Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) pallet handling.

Case Palletizing: This AMI system is designed to handle up to 15 infeed lanes and palletize 15 separate skus across 3 palletizing cells.  The system utilizes the KUKA KR 120 R3200 PA palletiing robots, an AMI designed pallet dispenser, robotic pallet and slip sheet placement with a custom EoAT, and multiple lines into each cell – handling 5 production lines on each robot.  Completed pallets can be removed using conveyors or Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).

Single SKU Tray Palletizing:  This AMI system is designed to handle multiple trays weighing 110 pounds each.  This system includes a KUKA KR 180 PA Robot and custom tray clamp gripper.

Mixed SKU Tray Palletizing:  Handles multiple tray flavors to build a mixed order store pallet.  This AMI system includes a KUKA KR 240 Robot and custom tray clamp grippers handling up to 3 trays weighing 110 pounds each.

Freezer Palletizing: Depalletizes & Palletizes cases to create specific cart loads.  This AMI System utilizes the KUKA KR QUANTEC 180 PA Artic Robot; the only robot on the market that operates in cold environments without a protective suite or robot arm heater.  AMI integrated this Artic robot with a Unigripper Pad gripper with AMI ease of use HMI graphical interface and PLC programming for ease of operation and troubleshooting.

Tube Packing: This AMI system is designed to stage, gate, and load tubes of wipes into canisters, utilizing a KUKA KR 10 robot and customized AMI end of arm tooling.  The critical success factor was being able to pick up wet rolls of wipes and not squeeze them to tightly, but be able to successfully handle and pack the rolls into canisters.

Tray Packing: This AMI system is designed to erect trays and robotically load bundles of wrappers into the tray.  A KUKA AGILUS KR10 R900 robot delivers speed and accuracy to manipulate the bundles into the tray.

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) KUKA AMRs automate the transportation of payloads up to 3000 kg. These mobile platforms use SLAM navigation to travel safely throughout your manufacturing floor or warehouse, making these robots perfect for adapting to changing environments and ensuring maximum efficiency. This AMI system utilized a KMP 1500P in order to move heavy equipment subassemblies without the use of conveyor belts.
